Soft PE/PP Waste Recycling

Common Soft Plastic Products are:
- Plastic bags: Supermarket shopping bags, food bags, fresh-keeping bags, etc.
- Food packaging bags: Snack bags, candy bags, cooked food packaging film, vegetable bags, etc.
- Garbage bags: Garbage bags in different sizes, mostly made from LDPE.
Recycling Steps:
- First, classify plastic waste from different materials, because different materials require different recycling methods.
- Make sure the soft plastic waste is clean and doesn’t contain food residues or other contaminants. If there are dirty soft plastic wastes, they need to be cleaned with a plastic waste washing line, because the contaminants will affect the quality of the recycled pellets.
- After feeding the clean plastic waste into the crusher of a recycling machine, the flakes will be melted by the extrusion machine and cut into pellets by the pelletizer. The plastic pellets will be cooled with water, and these recycled pellets can be reused to produce plastic films.
