EKA Parallel Twin Screw Extruder
Generally, twin-screw extruders can be divided into the following types: counter-rotating or co-rotating. Equipped with the modular configuration, the co-rotating twin-screw extrusion machines usually have great flexibility and can adapt to changing applications and material properties. Unlike counter-rotating extruders, co-rotating units are used to mix well-mixed materials.
Matila's EKA-series Co-Rotary Parallel Twin Screw Extruder equips with a powerful high torque gear box that including a force lubricating system that can adjust lubrication pressure. It ensures the gearbox is extremely smooth running.
EKA extrusion machine is also equipped with a Germany-made torque limiter featuring a torsionally flexible Rotex, placed between the gearbox and motor. The limiter disconnects the gearbox from the motor immediately when the torque demanded by the system exceeds a pre-set value within a range of values.
Our parallel twin screw extruders are suitable for a wide range of materials, including HDPE, LDPE, Masterbatch, CaCO3, PET, and more. Matila's extruders are highly flexible and can adapt to changing applications and material properties. Please do not hesitate to contact our sales team if you have any further inquiries.
